Please read these terms carefully before using KALESS for academic or commercial statistical analysis.
Fair Use
You agree to use KALESS responsibly and within the limits of your prescribed SaaS tier.
Account Safety
Your credentials are your own. Do not share subscription accounts across multiple researchers.
Compute Limits
The Statistical Engine enforces hard limits to prevent abuse. Intentional circumvention is prohibited.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, upgrading to a Premium Tier, or utilizing the KALESS API/Engine, you agree to abide by these Terms of Service. If you are utilizingKALESS on behalf of a university or enterprise, you warrant that you are authorized to accept these terms on their behalf.
2. Acceptable Use and Abuse Prevention
KALESS provides computational statistical tools for researchers. The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Automating dataset uploads via scraping scripts not authorized by the platform.
- Attempting to exceed the constraints (rows, project counts, premium analyses) of your specific Billing Tier.
- Uploading malicious files, exploits, or datasets designed to disrupt the Python Processing Engine.
- Using KALESS for illegal purposes or analyzing stolen, unconsented PII data.
3. Academic Disclaimer & Liability
While KALESS utilizes stable, industry-standard mathematical libraries (Scipy, Numpy, Pandas) to perform tests, the interpretation of these statistical results is the sole responsibility of the researcher.We do not guarantee the clinical or academic validity of the tests you choose to run.KALESS is not liable for errors in grading, rejected thesis papers, or incorrect business decisions made based on outputs.
4. Availability and Service Levels
We strive for high uptime, but KALESS is provided "AS IS". We may occasionally suspend compute nodes for maintenance or security upgrades. In the event of catastrophic data loss, our liability is limited to the subscription fee you paid in the last 12 months.
5. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, specifically regarding systematic abuse of the compute engine or payment fraud, without prior notice.
